mission ministry
C.A.R.D.S.
Our brave service men and women sacrifice a lot for us. They miss many birthdays, holidays and anniversaries with loved ones. Unfortunately, there is no Hallmark store for our deployed military. The C.A.R.D.S. ministry fills that need by providing beautiful handmade cards for deployed service personnel to send to their loved ones. If you enjoy crafting or card making consider getting involved in this very important ministry.
Meal Train
The Meal Train ministry is dedicated to providing meals to people going through any number of life’s challenges. Whether it’s the birth of a baby, recovery from surgery, loss of a family member or unable to prepare one’s own meals, Meal Train is in place to help people when they need it most.
LOVE Augusta
LOVE Augusta is a city-wide group of Christians, representing many area churches, joining together as servants of Jesus Christ. Through LOVE Augusta, participants volunteer to be the hands and feet of Jesus to meet practical needs in our community.
WOMEN
United
Women United
All women of the church are invited to attend our meetings. We meet the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the church parlor. We have continued to serve meals for funeral dinners, Core Community, and local Blood Drive. We help pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child and help with VBS and Meals on Wheels. Each year in May, we give an engraved bible to each high school graduate and serve a breakfast meal to the graduates and their family. We host a Summer Salad Supper in July for all the ladies of the church. Our December meeting is a cookie exchange. We support the operation of the kitchen and supplies for all church activities including the youth and WOW groups.
