W.O.W
(Worship on Wednesdays)
Calling all kids in grades K-5! Join us on Wednesday’s for a free meal from 6-6:25pm then W.O.W activities from 6:25-7:30pm. Come join us for a time of worship. You can expect games, snacks, crafts, and a lot of learning!

On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for children age 3 through fifth grade. Teachers work in teams and offer bible-based learning, age appropriate curriculum, and hands-on fun in all classes! Classes begin at 9:45 am upstairs.
Choir Chimes
Choir chimes make a unique and beautiful sound and are fun and easy to play. Second through fifth grade students are invited to experience the joys of making real music regardless of their musical training. Choir Chimes meet on Wednesdays from 5:30-6pm.

The children’s choir meets Sunday morning as part of the Sunday School hour. Ages 3 yrs. – 5th grade are given an opportunity to experience joy in singing and to exalt their faith in song.
bitty bells
Bitty Bells enable children (ages 3 – 8) to produce beautiful hand bell music accompanied by fully orchestrated song arrangements. No musical knowledge is necessary. Children meet during the Sunday School hour.
acolytes
“Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” John 8:12. The presence of light reminds us of Jesus’ coming into our lives. Acolytes bring the light into the sanctuary where people are gathering to worship. When they light the candles, they are reminding the people that God is with us at home, at school and at work, as well as in the worship service. At the end of the service, acolytes carry the light out, symbolizing the light of Jesus Christ going out into the world. Students (2nd – 6th grade) can serve as acolytes.
VBS
(Vacation Bible School)
Every summer we have a 4-5 day Vacation Bible School. This is a time for kids to come worship with those around them, and experience Jesus in a new and very unique way. Stay tuned for this years theme and date!
camp horizon
Located: Arkansas City, KS
Camp Horizon has been in ministry since 1947. Horizon is a member of the United Methodist Great Plains Camping Inc. comprised of Six United Methodist camps across Kansas and Nebraska.
Our primary ministry is our summer camp program for children and youth ranging from 1st-12th grade. The rest of the year we are busy hosting groups of all shapes and sizes. Day guests are are always welcome, just stop in at our welcome center and let us know you are on grounds. Whether for our summer camp program or a retreat, we hope to see you soon.
